3 days of climbing Mount Meru is enough, but we recommend the 4 days itinerary. One of the top attractions in Arusha National Park is Mount Meru. At least three days are needed for the entire ascent. The hike passes through several different natural settings with a wide range of flora and animals and an intriguing blending of nature and society.
There is just one path up Meru, which may be completed in three days, however, four days are highly advised for acclimatization. Before climbing Kilimanjaro, the majority of alpine climbers utilize Meru to acclimatize.
While climbing Mount Meru, unlike Kilimanjaro, you must be supervised by an armed ranger or rangers as you move through the Arusha National Park. You will love the walking safari during this time as you pass herds of African buffalo, zebras, and black and white colobus monkeys, to mention a few.
