Tarangire National Park is jam-packed with an incredible variety of breathtaking scenery, expansive sky, and, yes, a wide variety of species. But those who are knowledgeable go to see the elephants. African bush elephants are well-known for thriving in Tarangire, and our Elephant Spectacular Day Safari will let you to see these amazing animals up close. Also, it’s a fantastic introduction to a safari; if you’re new to Tanzania, this day excursion is an excellent way to be ready for longer safaris.

Arusha City - Tarangire National Park - Arusha City
120km/2hrs one way
With an early pick up from your Arusha hotel at 08.00hrs, our two hours’ drive will take us 120km to Tarangire National Park. The park extends into game controlled area and the wildlife is allowed to more freely throughout. This park has the largest concentration of Elephants, often seeing bathing in the Tarangire River, lots of giraffes, monkeys, impalas and many birds. It is also one of the best places to see lions and leopards. In the late afternoon return back to Arusha.
